Symrise unveils new clinical data for skin and gut health at SupplySide Global 2026

The company will showcase new clinical findings for its Acerowell beauty-from-within ingredient and probiotic combination at the show, alongside its expanding postbiotic portfolio through Probi and Health Active Solutions

Symrise will present new clinical evidence for skin health and digestive wellness at SupplySide Global 2026, highlighting its Acerowell acerola ingredient, Rham271h postbiotic and a probiotic combination from Probi.

Taking place in Las Vegas from 28-30 October, the event will mark the first joint Americas exhibition for Symrise’s Health Active Solutions and Probi businesses under its Care & Wellness Division.

Visitors can find the team at booth 2364.

The showcase follows Symrise’s launch of the Care & Wellness Division in March 2026, which brought together its expertise in cosmetic ingredients, health actives and biotics following its acquisition of Probi in 2025.

The move aims to accelerate innovation across beauty, supplements, personal care and pet health.

Clinical evidence for beauty-from-within ingredients

New clinical findings for Acerowell, a standardised acerola-based ingredient, come from a randomised, placebo-controlled study involving 108 women aged 45-60.

Daily supplementation with 600 mg for 12 weeks significantly improved skin radiance and translucency compared with placebo.

More than 80% of participants also reported improvements in skin luminosity, complexion and texture.

Available for use in powders, gummies and functional beverages, Acerowell will offer manufacturers an ingredient for beauty-from-within formulations supported by human clinical data.

Postbiotics and targeted digestive health

Probi will also be showcasing Rham271h, an inactivated Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus strain designed to offer formulation flexibility beyond live probiotics.

Its heat and pH stability supports applications in dietary supplements, functional foods and beverages.

In vitro research indicates potential effects on immune-related biomarkers and gut barrier integrity.

Meanwhile, an eight-week, randomised, placebo-controlled study of 100 healthy adults with occasional constipation found that the LP299V and LPGOS42 probiotic combination from the company significantly improved measures of digestive comfort, regularity and quality of life compared with placebo.
