The 17-19 November event expects 1650+ exhibitors and 27,000 visitors, spotlighting GLP-1's impact on food innovation, healthspan and gut health alongside an expanded pet nutrition programme

Registration has now opened for this year's Fi Europe show, which returns to Messe Frankfurt, Germany, from 17-19 November.

The show is expecting to welcome more than 1650 exhibitors and around 27,000 visitors, making it the largest iteration to date

Fi Europe 2026 will showcase food ingredient innovation, offering a unique opportunity to connect with key players in the industry, from start-ups to industry leaders such as ADM, Cargill and Givaudan.

This year's show will also feature the brand-new Pet Food and Nutrition Forum.

"The food, beverage and pet food sectors continue to evolve rapidly, driven by changing consumer expectations, advances in technology and growing demand for products that support health, well-being and sustainability," said Yannick Verry, Fi Events Brand Director at Informa Markets.

Fi Europe reflects these shifts, ensuring attendees have access to the knowledge, ideas, partnerships and solutions needed to stay ahead.

The trend of 'humanising' pets is creating new opportunities for ingredient suppliers and manufacturers, driven by increasing demand for products that enhance pet health and nutrition.

This year, the expanded Pet Food & Nutrition Hub will highlight a broader range of ingredients, formulations, technologies and solutions shaping the market and the Pet Food and Nutrition Forum will allow visitors to explore trends and opportunities in this rapidly growing industry.

The Food ingredients and Health ingredients areas will remain central to the show, allowing attendees to explore thousands of innovative, best-in-class ingredients.

In addition, Fi Europe's content programme will include cutting-edge insights and thought leadership, with the third day of the conference spotlighting weight management and how the rise of GLP-1 medications is reshaping food innovation.

Attendees can also expect to learn about other trending topics and ingredients, ranging from plant-based and clean-label solutions to ingredients that support healthspan, gut health, cognitive well-being and more.

This year's show will again feature free Innovation Tours that provide insights into how exhibitors are meeting market demands through reformulation, sustainability initiatives, meat alternatives and technology-driven solutions.

This year's event will primarily focus on food and beverage ingredients, but the organisers of Fi Europe said there are "exciting expansions" planned, including the Ready to Market area, which will connect product development with commercial opportunities.

In addition, Fi Europe's expanding Tech, Services & Equipment area will bring together processing technologies, packaging innovations, automation tools and digital solutions that support modern food and beverage manufacturing.

"We’re always looking for ways to bring our community together, ensuring Fi Europe is not only a place for learning and discovery, but also one that creates meaningful face-to-face connections beyond the event itself,” continued Verry.

To harness these connections, we’ve upgraded the Fi Europe app and introduced a new Supplier Pass that includes the event’s complete visitor list, enabling attendees to see who will be in Frankfurt and schedule meetings in advance with relevant contacts.

"Combined with early app access, this pass will help visitors plan ahead and make the most of their time at Fi Europe 2026."

The event will also feature in-person networking opportunities, including a Women's Networking Breakfast and a Future of Nutrition Lunch & Learn for senior decision-makers.

The Fi Europe Innovation Awards will also return to celebrate groundbreaking innovations and promote future collaborations.

Registration for Fi Europe 2026 is now open, with super early bird prices available until 6th September.
