Lemme rebrands GLP-1 supplement after legal scrutiny

Kourtney Kardashian Barker's wellness firm has rebranded its GLP-1 supplement following previous legal scrutiny, with the new GLP-1 Reset formula marketed as supporting the body’s natural GLP-1 production rather than mimicking pharmaceutical GLP-1 agonists

Supplement company Lemme has announced the launch of its rebranded GLP-1 production support product, which it says provides an "accessible daily option for people interested in GLP-1 production support."

The new product is called GLP-1 Reset and is marketed alongside terms such as GLP-1 production support.

From launch to lawsuits

Co-founded by Kourtney Kardashian Barker, the supplement firm launched a "natural GLP-1 supplement" back in 2024 named GLP-1 Daily.

However, the company faced regulatory scrutiny around the product, including class-action lawsuits filed in California and New York, with claimants alleging the brand engaged in deceptive marketing.

The lawsuits alleged that Lemme had tried to cash in on the popularity of prescription GLP-1 agonist weight-loss drugs such as Ozempic and Wegovy by marketing the supplement as a natural, cheaper alternative that could trigger similar weight-loss and un-hunger effects.

Despite GLP-1 appearing in its name, the supplement did not contain GLP-1 itself and instead used plant extracts.

The lawsuits also challenged whether the available scientific evidence supported claims that the ingredients could increase natural GLP-1 levels sufficiently to produce meaningful weight loss or replicate the effects of pharmaceutical GLP-1 agonists.

The New York class action was voluntarily dismissed in April 2025, although Lemme continues to face a separate class action in California.

Same formula, new positioning

The rebranded supplement has the same underlying formulation as the original.

The hero ingredients are Eriomin, a patented lemon complex studied in published human clinical trials for its ability to support natural GLP-1 production; Morosil Red Orange Extract, which has been clinically shown to promote healthy weight management; and Supresa Saffron Extract, which has been clinically tested to manage hunger and appetite. Lemme rebrands GLP-1 supplement after legal scrutiny

The formula also includes Chromax, which Lemme says is clinically studied to support healthy body composition and lean muscle mass, along with Berberine, Myo-Inositol, Bitter Melon and Vitamin B12 for energy metabolism and overall wellness.

However, Lemme markets the rebranded product alongside clearer disclaimers emphasising that it does not contain synthetic GLP-1, is not an agonist drug and only aims to support the body's natural production of GLP-1 via plant extracts.

"GLP-1 is an important area of metabolic health research and something my patients are increasingly asking about," said Dr Kathleen Valenton, board-certified OB/GYN and Chief Medical Officer at Lemme.

We selected ingredients with strong clinical research behind them, including Eriomin, a patented lemon complex backed by years of research and validated in published human clinical trials to support natural GLP-1 production.

"We've spent years with our medical advisory board researching GLP-1 and developing formulas that support the body's natural processes," said Kourtney Kardashian Barker, Lemme co-founder.

I'm proud of the research behind Lemme GLP-1 Production Support and excited to bring another thoughtful formula to our metabolic wellness lineup.
