A systematic literature review has revealed the power of chicory root fibre as a weight management nutraceutical.

Notably, the prebiotic fibre has been shown to reduce body weight, body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, fat mass and even body fat percentage.

This finding by Reimer et al. furthers scientific understanding of the role that inulin-type fructans can play in metabolic health.1
